Yesterday’s WOD provides us with the perfect example of how to achieve high intensity while maintaining form.  With performances getting into the 100 Sumo deadlift high pulls, and 50 thrusters, we expect form to fail.  The athlete whose form is kept rock solid throughout this WOD is most likely not going to see those total number of lifts.  If three sharpshooters lined up and the performance varied from a perfect score in ten minutes, to a failed score in three seconds, we would want to look at everyone in between, and somewhere in the middle we would find the perfect crossfit athlete.  One who has achieved decent accuracy, but in an incredibly short amount of time.  An athlete who is off to the next task of saving lives, or winning a victory for purpose, while his cohorts are still considering how to complete the first task.  We train for that day, though we do not know when it will come, we do know that it will.
